Attachments are important: Attachments serve as anchors for your aligners, allowing the aligners to fit more snugly against your teeth and move more effectively. When your teeth shift into alignment the way they’re intended, your treatment with Invisalign braces will proceed smoothly, and you’ll have perfectly straight teeth before you know it.

Not every tooth needs an attachment: When it comes to inquiring about these Invisalign attachments for certain teeth, the buttons may not be necessary for the entirety of the treatment.

Two-weeks is the average time span, where patients begin to feel more comfortable with their Invisalign attachments. While an attachment will not be needed for every tooth, the typical Invisalign patient can wear up to 20 attachments.

DO ATTACHMENTS COME OFF EASILY?

It depends on the situation, because the attachments can fall off sometimes. We ask all patients to not be alarmed over this, because attachments are easily replaced at the orthodontist.
