What Happens at Your Consultation

Your consultation is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation. Here’s what we’ll do together:

Take a look at your smile, teeth, and bite
Chat about any concerns you or your child may have
Answer all your questions
Walk you through your treatment options and what each one looks like
Go over timeline, process, and cost so there are no surprises

The whole visit usually takes about 45 to 60 minutes. We set aside this time just for you so we can cover everything properly without rushing.

Even if you’re just starting to explore your options, you’ll leave with a clear understanding of what treatment could look like.

Meet Dr. Azariy Yusupov

Dr. Azariy Yusupov is the owner and chief orthodontist at Amazing Smiles Orthodontics. He’s been practicing since 2009 and has over 15 years of experience treating patients of all ages, from as young as 6 to as old as 83.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and completed a three-year specialty program in orthodontics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Over his career, Dr. Yusupov has treated more than 10,000 orthodontic cases, including over 5,500 Invisalign treatments. He’s an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists.

"I went to Dr.Yusupov after making the decision to get braces for my huge gap(s). After a quick initial consultation, he recommended Invisalign, although a bit of a skeptic, I went for it. Literally one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. Nine months later and my teeth are perfect as can be. At first I was not sure that I could get used to the trays but two weeks in and I adjusted. My visits to get my new trays are about 15 minutes long and only once a month. No tightening of wires or food in between brackets. Just take them off to eat, brush your teeth and put them back in! The key is consistency!!!! Wear them at all times and trust me that 4 months in you will notice HUGE transformations.... I cannot thank Dr. Yusupov enough for his invisalign recommendation... That’s totally fine. A lot of our patients come in just to explore their options. There’s no pressure to commit to anything at your consultation. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of whether treatment makes sense and what it would look like.

Is treatment available for adults too?

Absolutely. Dr. Yusupov treats kids, teens, and adults. He’s treated patients as old as 83. Options like Invisalign and BRIUS lingual braces make it easier than ever for adults to straighten their teeth without traditional braces being visible.

How long does orthodontic treatment usually take?

Every case is different. Some treatments take as little as 6 months, others can take up to 2 years. At your consultation, Dr. Yusupov will give you a clear timeline based on your specific situation.

What's the difference between braces and Invisalign?

Braces use brackets and wires that are fixed to your teeth. Invisalign uses clear removable aligners that are nearly invisible. Both get great results. Dr. Yusupov also offers Damon self-ligating braces, clear ceramic braces, and BRIUS lingual braces for patients who want something more discreet. At your consultation, he’ll explain which option works best for your case and why.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer interest-free financing options to make treatment affordable. We also offer family and sibling discounts, and accept CareCredit. Our Treatment Coordinator, Claudia Tinaro, has over 25 years of experience and will go over all the financial details so there are no surprises.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

No problem at all. Just let us know as early as possible so we can find you a new time and open your slot for another patient.
