What does treatment with invisible aligners involve?
At Amazing Smiles Orthodontics, invisible aligner treatment begins with a comprehensive in-office consultation. If Dr. Yusupov identifies one or more alignment issues, you qualify for treatment. He takes digital impressions of your mouth with a scanner and uploads them to a computer program.
Dr. Yusupov uses the program to create a custom treatment plan, mapping out the exact movements of your teeth and jaw. After finalizing the plan, he sends your scans to a dental lab that creates a set of custom invisible aligners.
When the lab finishes your aligners, you return to Amazing Smiles Orthodontics and try them on. Dr. Yusupov explains how to care for your aligners and asks you to wear them 20-22 hours a day, only removing them to eat or brush and floss.
During treatment, you visit Amazing Smiles Orthodontics every few weeks. At each checkup, Dr. Yusupov monitors your progress and adjusts the plan as necessary.
How long does treatment with Invisible aligners take?
